Test your laptop for free

The app runs on the laptop (Windows). Open this page on the laptop you want to test.

What it tests

Each test is one button on the app’s home screen.

Model, serial number, processor, RAM, storage, graphics card and screen size — read from the laptop itself.

Press every key and it lights up on screen, so you see any key that doesn’t work.

Full-screen colours to spot dead pixels, patches or uneven backlight.

Music in the left speaker only, the right only and both, plus a meter that moves with your voice for the mic.

Movement in every corner of the touchpad, clicks and two-finger scrolling.

Opens the camera right away so you can see the picture.

Measures how fast the battery drains and estimates how many hours it lasts, with a chart.

Download the app with the button above.
If the browser asks whether to keep the file, choose Keep.
Open NEXOS-Laptop-Check.exe from your downloads.
If a blue screen says “Windows protected your PC”: click More info, then Run anyway.
That’s Windows’ usual warning for any new, less-known app; nothing gets installed on the laptop.
Pick the test you want from the home screen. The camera and mic will ask the browser for permission — click Allow.

Everything runs on your laptop and nothing is sent anywhere. It closes when you close it and leaves nothing installed.
